Child safety standards
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Konekte has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses Konekte, everything shared on it, and our own team.
Adults only
Konekte is only for people aged 18 and over. Everyone gives their date of birth when they create an account, and Konekte does not let anyone under 18 sign up. If we learn that a member is under 18, we close the account and delete their information.
What is never allowed
- Any sexual or sexualised content involving a minor, real or fictional, including images, videos, drawings, text and links.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, or trying to arrange to meet a minor.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or offering, asking for or trading CSAM.
- Using Konekte to contact, find or target children in any way.
How to report a concern
- In the app: tap the flag on any profile or chat to report or block the person. Reports go straight to our moderation team.
- By email: write to support@konekte.date with the subject "Child safety report". You do not need a Konekte account.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
What we do
- We review child safety reports with the highest priority.
- We remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant national authorities, as the law requires, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
- We keep the records needed for an investigation for as long as the law requires, even if the account is deleted.
Compliance
Konekte complies with child safety laws in the countries where it is available, including the obligation to report CSAM to the authorities.
